The Events Committee for GHA is responsible for organizing and carrying out the programs and events that are held throughout the year. There are educational dinners, our annual Family Education Weekend, as well as fundraising activities such as trivia nights and our Walk With The Animals. We organize the yearly Holiday Party, and many other fun activities for the famillies in our chapter.
Having volunteers to help bring new ideas for activities and events ensures our members will continue to have fun, learn, and fellowship with each other. Just as important is the acutal planning and preparing for the activities. New volunteers are always welcome, and if you don't have a specific idea of what you would like to help contact Nancy Phelps our chairperson and she can share more about the details that go into our planning.
