Family Education Weekend 2008
Our 12th Annual Family Education Weekend (FEW) is behind us now. If you were not able to attend, you missed a lot of fun and some valuable legislative education.
We had wonderful weather this year, unlike the rain we endured in 2007. According to our surveys, the families who were able to attend had a great time and want to return to the Lake in 2009.
This year's meeting was held the weekend of July 11th - July 13th at The Country Club Hotel and Spa. We found this hotel to be a perfect location for our meeting. The suites and villas offer a comfortable and quiet refuge to return to after a full day of education and networking with the community.
The GHA Event Planning Committee will be meeting soon to look at the proposals for next year's FEW. The Board has decided on the weekend of July 10th - 12th, 2009 as the dates for the meeting.
Check this website and our newsletter for updated information as we receive it. Mark the dates on your calendars now, so you won't miss this valuable meeting next year.
